OUR SERVICES
Make a Difference with a smile, Oral Health is important!
Cloud Dental has a full range of dental hygiene therapies and preventative strategies. We also work hard to ensure that environmentally friendly products are used for treating patients for oral hygiene.

Initial Dental Assessments/ Dental Hygiene Assessments
On your first visit, a complete oral health history will be taken to provide us with a broad understanding of your individual needs. Our hygienist may take an x-ray of your teeth, if necessary. A new patient’s periodontal condition is assessed. All concerns are addressed and data is collected. Regular oral health assessments give your dental hygienist the opportunity to halt any signs of gum disease, screen for mouth cancer and offer advice on how to maintain and improve dental health. Routinely examining your smile can identify problems early.

Scaling/ Root Planing
This hygiene procedure involves the removal of plaque and calculus (hard and soft bacterial deposits) above and below the gum line, helping you to rejuvenate, restore or enhance, and ultimately improve the appearance of your teeth. This is essential for maintaining healthy teeth and gums.

Polishing
Tooth polishing is a dental procedure that removes stains such as those caused by coffee or smoking and leaves your tooth enamel glossy and smooth. It’s a standard part of a routine cleaning appointment. When paired with tooth scaling, tooth polishing can result in smooth, white — and bacteria free teeth, freshens your breath and prevents tooth decay. If you have questions about tooth polishing, talk to our dental hygienist at your next appointment.

Fluoride Treatments
We offer fluoride treatment for restoring minerals to tooth surfaces where bacteria may have eroded the enamel. It can also inhibit the growth of harmful oral bacteria and further prevent cavities. This treatment is for both kids and adults. A professional fluoride treatment is recommended every 3, 6, or 12 months, depending on your oral health.

Whitening
Teeth can appear duller for a number of reasons, such as diet, ageing, certain medications, smoking and trauma. Teeth whitening is a simple chemical process used to eliminate discoloration and lighten teeth, helping you achieve a radiant and more youthful looking smile. For your convenience, we offer take-home and in-office treatments. Ask for detailed information and prices about these procedures.

Fissure Sealants
Protect your back teeth with this simple procedure! This procedure prevents bacteria from entering pits and fissures on the chewing surfaces of teeth, we flow sealants into these areas and harden them with high-intensity blue light.

Irrigation
We have a variety of effective treatments and procedures available, including dental irrigation, to flush out deep pockets around the teeth to reduce bacteria and promote healing. It is a versatile dental treatment used for several different preventative purposes. We often recommend it for people who are unable to tolerate flossing and sensitive gums, diabetic patients.

Periowave Laser Treatment
Periowave is the gold standard for the treatment of bacteria found under the gum lines. We use a laser to selectively destroy disease causing bacteria that multiply around the teeth in patients who have periodontal disease. This treatment manufactured by periowave arrests the progression of the disease and starts the healing process.

Desensitizing
Extremely sensitive teeth can be treated by applying a desensitizing liquid or varnish which blocks exposed dentin and helps to reduce pain and sensitivity. And you can enjoy your drinks and ice cream in peace!

Oral Cancer Screenings
